MR Arshwin

President & Founder

Arshwin's career in Human Resources spans over 11 years, beginning at the age of 17 as a waiter in the F&B industry. This early experience laid the foundation for his expertise and understanding of the industry's dynamics. Having come from a challenging background with minimal education and support, Arshwin understands the struggles of candidates facing similar circumstances. At 21, he transitioned to the shared services industry, working as an HR Specialist for the APAC market. It was during this time that Arshwin identified a significant gap between HR personnel and candidates. Recognizing that traditional job portals were insufficient, he saw the need for more effective social media tools to help HR professionals post jobs and share industry insights. This realization led Arshwin to establish the Recruiters Association Malaysia (RAM) as a community to bridge the gap between candidates and recruiters. Partnering with industry leaders and local communities, RAM officially became an NGO in 2019. Under Arshwin's leadership, RAM has grown to be a pillar of support for candidates, especially those from smaller colleges and universities. Today, RAM has developed a new membership platform aimed at combating recruitment scams. This platform provides recruiters and HR personnel with membership IDs, allowing candidates to verify their legitimacy and reduce fraudulent activities. RAM is also preparing to launch Malaysia’s first marketplace, inspired by the Yellow Pages concept. In addition, RAM offers career coaching, resume reviews, and industrial relations advisory services at minimal cost, all provided remotely to ensure accessibility.

Vice President & Advisor

Aaron Victor's distinguished 14-year career in Human Resources began as a Student Recruiter while he was in university pursuing his Master’s, where he laid the groundwork for his expertise in talent acquisition. He progressed to roles such as Talent Acquisition Specialist, Technical Recruiter, and Recruitment Consultant, earning recognition for his exceptional candidate communication and service. Aaron further advanced his career by handling mass hiring and recruitment events, and later focused on talent acquisition for technology and banking operations. He then took on a managerial role, in which he excelled at overseeing global talent market mapping and analysis for a leading multinational logistics distribution. Aaron's expertise continued to grow as he took on positions such as Talent Acquisition Manager and People Operations Manager, where he streamlined HR processes and achieved important certifications. He then became an HR Manager, specialising in talent management and organisational design for a leading port operator in Malaysia. Aaron at the moment drives the HR policies and strategies as an HR Manager for Southeast Asia for a leading manufacturer in the infrastructure and agriculture industry. His passion for HR data analytics has been pivotal in transforming HR practices through data-driven insights and decisions. As a founding member and Vice President of RAM, Aaron has consistently demonstrated his prowess in various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management, establishing himself as a respected authority in talent management.

Gerald is an Author, an engaging International Speaker and a Certified Master Coach and Trainer who specialises in creating long-lasting Positive Impact in people's lives. In his role as a Certified Mentor at FutureLab Malaysia and Mentor Guru at PushFar UK, he has mentored students and jobseekers on career matters, as well as independent business owners and entrepreneurs on how to build their brands and scaling their businesses. He was featured on The Mindset Mentoring podcast with PushFar and was recently recognized as a Top 30 Mentor of 2022 in Southeast Asia by FutureLab. Gerald is also an award-winning Sales Leader who has previously held senior leadership positions in reputable organizations such as Unilever Malaysia, Celcom Axiata, Ferrero Asia Limited, Munchy’s, Etika Group, Red Bull and JobStreet.com, as well as pioneering an FMCG start-up. His expertise includes NLP Coaching, Leadership, Team Management, Sales & Business Development, Branding & Business Growth Strategies; Go-to-Market, Channel & Distribution Strategies and Traditional & Key Account Management. Gerald holds a Business Degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia, NLP Master Coach and Trainer certifications from the American Board of NLP, therapist certifications from the American Board of Hypnotherapy and Time Line Therapy Association; and Accredited Trainer certification from HRD Corp Malaysia

Faizal Basheer is a motivated and analytical IT Officer with 20 years of experience in datacenter, network, and project management, specializing in Technology and IoT. In his recent role, he commissioned several IT projects and improved the core business framework, adding value to the company. Faizal has been involved in IT Project Management, Service Delivery, Release Management, Change Management, Software Development Life Cycle, Solution Design & Development, Testing, and Operation Management. Proficient in Scrum and Agile methodologies, he began his career as Technical Software Support at UBS Corp Berhad in Financial Software, then transitioned to IT Administrator at IMU Medical Education Center. He later became an IT Executive at Legal Firm Kadir Andri & Partner, handling Corporate IT. He expanded his career as a Senior IT Executive at Sarawak Hidro Sdn Bhd (Hidro Power Plant), leading major IT projects involving various technologies and IoT. Currently, as a Senior IT Executive at Cenergi Sea Berhad (a subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional), he improves Corporate IT and Network, overseeing IT governance and compliance. Faizal holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has managed multiple IT projects from small to large scale. He has consistently demonstrated his expertise and played a pivotal role in most IT improvement projects.
