In line with the core purpose for RAM’s mission, we conduct workshops and training for various parties throughout the year.
1. Public CV Workshop
An independent workshop designed to teach candidates how to write CVs to suit their professions with best practices and formatting.
2. Job Bootstrap Camp
RAM organised a job fair for Saito College, City College, Columbia College students to link them up with several employers for internship and fresh graduate opportunities. An overall success, 23 students found opportunities with companies who were present.
3. Seminars to update HR departments on Labour Law amendments
With joint efforts of various parties in RAM, 2 workshops were held in Ipoh and KL respectively to update over 160 company HR professionals on the implications of the F177 (edit where fit) law on this hiring and firing of employees in Malaysia. In association with MARTEC’s Ernest Balansingam, a seasoned IR lawyer with over 30 years in the industry.
